Elizabeth was born 1948 to Jim and Cathie Killen - the eldest of three - brother Jim and sister Mary. Elizabeth trained as a Nurse. She married the lovely Sam and they emigrated to Canada in 1975 where they had their children, Iain and Alison. For Elizabeth her family were everything and she was so proud of them. Over the years many memories were made and shared as holidays in Scotland and Vancouver happened regularly - what fun we had in their pool, camping on Vancouver island, many barbecues and lots of fun. Elizabeth’s family grew as Iain married Mel and their daughter, Kara was born and Alison married Travis. More memories.

Sadly, Elizabeth was diagnosed with cancer of the brain in May 2021 and although she had bravely battled many health problems over the years this was just one challenge too many. She received end of life care at the amazing North Shore Hospice Vancouver where we were always so warmly welcomed including the adorable dog Goose. Elizabeth died on 7th July 2021 surrounded by her family. We miss you so much but are happy that you were a part of our lives for so long. Rest peacefully. Love always your ‘wee’ sister Mary
